What it takes to be an XPO Truck Driver
Minimum Qualifications:
21 years of age or older
Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
Safe Driving Record and History
Currently possess or willing to obtain Hazardous Materials, Tank Vehicle, and Dual/Triple endorsements within 90 days of employment
Pass DOT drug test with no positive test results or denials in the past 3 years
Possess a valid DOT Medical Certification Card or company paid DOT physical exam
Flexible work schedule up to 12-14 hours per day including day, night, and weekend shifts

Expected Pay Range: $31.10 to $36.03 per hour. Pay increases annually. Actual pay may vary based on factors such as experience and skills. Full health insurance benefits available on day one

What I'll do in a typical day:
Safely operate tractor-trailer combinations, including double and triple trailers
Provide excellent customer service, including generating sales leads
Load and unload freight
Truck drivers must:
Lift objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights (typically up to 50 pounds and sometimes over 75 pounds); move and position conversion dollies with an average weight/pulling force of approximately 128 pounds.
Safely climb in/out of tractor cab/trailer
Seated on truck tractor and/or forklift for extended periods of time; safely operate heavy equipment and forklifts Walking and standing for extended periods of time on a variety of uneven or slippery surfaces (including working outdoors in inclement weather)
Reaching (including overhead), stooping, climbing, pushing, pulling, twisting, squatting, and kneeling, operating a tractor-trailer combination for 11 consecutive hours in all weather conditions while safely transporting hazardous/non-hazardous materials
