Job Description: Janitors are responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of assigned areas.

Working hours: Monday to Friday 9 am to 1 pm (may be adjusted according to specific work)

Work location: assigned nearby according to job requirements

Salary: starting at $20 per hour, salary levels vary in different regions

Employee benefits: health insurance and medical benefits, paid vacation, gas card

Job responsibilities:

Clean and maintain buildings/facilities

Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures

Notify management of major or minor repairs or additions to building operating systems

Establish and maintain effective communication and working relationships with customers, colleagues, shift coordinators, supervisors, managers, etc.
Follow all safety, compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the company, customers and regulatory agencies
Clean and dust furniture, fixtures, floors, ceilings, walls, machinery and equipment
Move cabinets, boxes, furniture, crates and equipment to cleaning areas manually or using carts
Clean interior glass, windows, glass partitions and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaning agents, sponges and squeegees
Wash and replace blinds
Collect and empty trash
Sweep sidewalks, rake leaves, mow lawns, remove snow or perform other seasonal tasks
Wipe and clean tables, chairs and equipment in food areas
Maintain, clean and supply restrooms
 

3. Basic qualifications:

Must be 18 years old or older
No experience required, on-the-job training provided
No high school diploma, GED or college degree required
Excellent communication and organizational skills, highly responsible and reliable

Preferred qualifications:

Customer service experience
1 year of similar work experience
